Contract Ready is a trading name of Tyler Baldwin, a sole trader based in South Wales. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why, and what your rights are. If you have any questions, email tyler@contractready.co.uk.
What we collect
When you use the form on this site or email us, we collect your name, company name, email address, trade, the areas you cover, and whether your business is a limited company. If you become a client, we also hold the business information you send us for bids, such as insurance details, policies and examples of past work.
We also collect publicly available business contact details, such as a company's published email address, so we can tell firms about contracts that may be relevant to them.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and send you contracts that match your trade and area. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, and where you've asked us to contact you, your request.
- To deliver the service you've signed up for, such as writing bids. Our lawful basis is performing our contract with you.
- To keep records we're required to keep, such as invoices. Our lawful basis is legal obligation.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for anything unrelated to finding and bidding for contracts.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the business: Google Workspace for email and documents, Netlify to host this website and receive form submissions, and Stripe to take payments. They process data on our behalf under their own data protection terms. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK, with safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
We use AI tools to help draft bids and summarise contracts. We only put in the information needed for the job.
How long we keep it
If you enquire but don't become a client, we keep your details for up to 12 months after our last contact, then delete them. Client records are kept for 6 years after our work ends, for tax and legal reasons.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email tyler@contractready.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. Replying "stop" to any of our emails also stops further contact.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
This site doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
